This could be absolutely huge for Las Vegas! Undefeated and supposedly retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor have reportedly reached a handshake agreement on a multi-million dollar megafight. Nothing has been signed yet and more details need to finalized. McGregor is under contract¬†with the UFC for four more fights and would have to be let out of his contract in order to fight Mayweather. McGregor says he’ll do what ever it takes to make the fight happen, with or without the UFC’s involvement. For his part, Mayweather says that this is fight that fans want to see. Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing in 2015 after amassing a record of 49-0. If the deal is finalized and the fight happens here in Vegas, it could one of the biggest events ever and bring millions of dollars into the city.
