If you have any form of social media, chances are you have seen the now viral video from a United Airlines flight.
In the video, a passenger is forcibly removed from his seat on an overbooked flight and beat up pretty badly.

The video, of course, sparked outrage after seeing how this passenger was treated and people wanted an apology from United Airlines. A statement was eventually issued by the airlines, but apparently, it was not good enough. The statement by CEO, Oscar Mununez, didn’t prove to suffice and social media took things into their own hands.

Though the situation that started all of this was unfortunate, social media found a way to turn it around. Social media allows public opinion to react fast and gain attention even faster. United Airlines is taking a Meek Mill type loss right now and may just have to wait it out. The good thing about all things meme related is that next week we will all be on to the next.
