ICYMI: Jay Z Signs Live Nation Extension

Now you'll have a chance to watch Hov perform when he's turning gray, at the ripe old age of 57.

According to Variety, Jay Z just signed a 10 year extension with Live Nation worth some $200 million. This deal is akin to the one they gave Madonna back in 2007 worth $120 million.

In a statement released by the Brooklyn-hailed rapper, he said, "Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008,” Jay Z said. “Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences. [Live Nation president and chief executive officer] Michael Rapino is an industry visionary, and this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation. For the next 10 years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape.”

Jay Z is currently slatted to make the music festival rounds, including the upcoming Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York and his own Made In America festival. While Jigga hasn't released an album since Magna Carta ... Holy Grail, he is rumored to be beginning a new project.

Keep your ear to the street for more news on Hov's upcoming projects and tour dates.

Looks like the No. 2 wealthiest man in hip-hop just got a little bit richer. Watch out Diddy.
