The Nevada Parole Board Unanimously granted O.J. Simpson Parole
NFL Hall Of Fame football star O.J. Simpson has served nearly nine years in a medium security lock-up northeast of Reno after being convicted in 2008 for an armed heist. Simpson and a group of men tried to recover sports memorabilia in an incident which earned him a minimum of nine up to 33 years in prison.
Simpson will be on parole until September 29, 2022 -a reduced time due to good behavior.
Simpson expressed his desire to go back to Florida so that he can be with his family. The parole boards will take into consideration where his strongest support system including family reside and make a decision as to where he will need to live while on parole.
