Rebels Returning To Form

The UNLV Men's Basketball team got a couple of much needed wins this past week. Last Saturday, UNLV defeated perrenial conference foe San Diego State 88-78 and on Wednesday took down San Jose State 76-67 behind 22 points and 17 rebounds from freshman center Brandon McCoy. The win over San Jose State improved the Rebels' record to 5-4 in the Mountain West conference and 16-6 overall. Next on tap for UNLV are the top two teams in the conference. The Rebels face second place Boise State tonight at 5pm in Boise and then travel to Reno to battle first place UNR next Wednesday. A couple of victories would greatly enhance the Rebels' chances of winning the conference title and they've already lost to both Boise State and UNR. A little payback is in order!
