The Las Vegas Golden Knights looked tough and strong as they won their first ever NHL playoff game, beating the L.A. Kings 1-0 on Wednesday night before a raucous sell out crowd at T-Mobile Arena. Shea Theodore scored early in the first period for the Knights and goalie Marc-Andre Fleury added another playoff shutout to his resume. Game 2 is tonight at 7pm at T-Mobile Arena. L.A. Kings defenseman Drew Doughty has been suspended for Game 2 for his illegal check on Knights forward William Carrier in game one. That suspension will only help the Knights as they look to go up 2-0 on the Kings before the series moves to L.A. for game three on Sunday and game four on Tuesday. It'll be interesting to see how many Knights fans travel to L.A. to help support the team. If the Knights can get by the Kings, they'll have home ice advantage in the next round against the winner of the San Jose/Anaheim series.
