Knights Ground Jets, Steal Home Ice Advantage

The Vegas Golden Knights wrested home ice advantage away from the Winnipeg Jets last night with a convincing 3-1 win in Winnipeg, tying the Western Conference finals at one game apiece. The Knights turned the tables on the Jets, grabbing an early 2-0 lead on first period goals by Tomas Tatar and Jonathan Marchessault. Winnipeg scored in the third period to pull within a goal, but Marchessault scored his second goal of the game 90 seconds later to put the game on ice for the Knights. The series now returns to Vegas for games three and four at T-Mobile Arena on Wednesday and Saturday. The Knights now hold home ice advantage and need to only win their home games to advance to the Stanley Cup final. Game time on Wednesday is 6pm and on Friday at 5pm. We can only imagine how crazy it's going to be on the Strip on Wednesday, and even crazier on Friday, especially if the Knights win on Wednesday and go into Friday's game with a chance to go up 3-1. Let's get ready, Vegas!
