The UNLV Runnin' Rebels 3-0 start in conference play is a thing of the past as the Rebels have crashed back down to Earth in a most deflating fashion. UNLV took two beatings last week, losing last Saturday to San Diego State 94-77 and getting pounded by UNR in front of a large hometown crowd at the Thomas & Mack on Tuesday, 87-70. To be fair, the injury bug has continued to plague UNLV as surprising freshman forward Joel Ntambwe was hurt early in the game against the Wolfpack. UNLV's next two games are on the road. The Rebels play Utah State on Saturday at 1:30pm and then face Boise State next Wednesday at 8pm. The Rebels' next home game is Saturday, Feb. 9 against Fresno State.
