Her Star will honor her music recording career where she got her start at 18 years old. Born in The Bronx, N.Y. Mary J. Blige signed to Uptown Records in 1989. Just 18 years old, she was the youngest artist on the label as well as the first female artist to sign with Uptown. Her debut album, "What's the 411?" was executive produced by Puffy Combs who will join the Hollywood Chamber President on January 11 to unveil the Hollywood Walk Of fame star.
